Troubleshooting

Why Is TiviMate Buffering?

Buffering can originate from the connection, device, playlist source or one stream. Isolate the layer before changing settings.

Run three quick tests

  1. Try another channel in the same playlist.
  2. Try the same playlist on another supported device or connection.
  3. Restart the router and streaming device.

If one channel fails, the stream is the likely cause. If all apps struggle, investigate the network. If only TiviMate struggles, update the app and test its playback settings.

Reduce buffering safely

  • Use Ethernet or strong 5 GHz Wi-Fi where practical.
  • Pause downloads and test without a congested VPN route.
  • Free device storage and close background apps.
  • Update the playlist and EPG rather than repeatedly re-adding them.
  • Test the available buffer-size and decoder options one change at a time.
  • Check whether the source limits simultaneous connections.

Is TiviMate down?

TiviMate is primarily a player, so there is no single channel network for the app to operate. Login or app-service incidents are different from playlist-provider outages. Check the official site, verify your account and ask the playlist provider whether its server is available. Never publish credentials in a support forum.

For data issues, see the playlist and EPG guide.
