How to Record on TiviMate and Use Catch-Up

Recording saves a live stream to your storage; catch-up requests a past programme from a source that supports it.

Recording requirements

You need adequate writable storage, a stable stream and permission to record the content. Select a programme or live channel, choose Record, then confirm the recording location. Leave the device and storage available for the scheduled period.

Why recordings fail

Common causes include insufficient storage, a disconnected USB or network folder, interrupted streams, device sleep and connection limits. Test a short recording first. If another stream is playing simultaneously, the playlist may require more than one permitted connection.

How catch-up works

Catch-up appears only where the playlist and source provide past broadcasts and correct EPG mapping. Open the guide, move to an earlier supported programme and select it. Missing catch-up is often a source or EPG issue rather than a recording-setting problem.
