How to Update, Restart or Reset TiviMate

Start with reversible steps. Clearing all app data should be the final option because it may remove playlists and preferences.

Update TiviMate

Google Play installations should update through the Play Store. Direct official installations can check for updates or use the official APK at tivimate.com/apk. Never install an update from an unknown mirror over an app containing playlist credentials.

Restart a frozen app

  1. Exit TiviMate and force stop it in device application settings.
  2. Clear cache—not data—then reopen the app.
  3. Restart the Firestick, Android TV or NVIDIA Shield.
  4. Check storage and install current device updates.

Reset only when necessary

Before clearing data or reinstalling, record your playlist and EPG configuration securely and use any available backup function. A reset can help corrupted local settings but will not repair an unavailable source. If channels load but pause, use the buffering guide; if listings are missing, use the EPG guide.
