How does TiviMate work?

TiviMate is intended for television devices running Android. That includes many Android TV boxes, Google TV devices and televisions with Android TV built in. TiviMate Free vs Premium: what is the difference?

The free version is sufficient for basic playlist playback; Premium is aimed at people who want advanced organisation and viewing tools. The official product page lists capabilities including multiple playlists, favourites, search, multiview, catch-up, recording, parental controls and interface personalisation. Availability can depend on the app version, device and playlist data.

Check current features and pricing inside the authentic app or on the official website. Avoid “modded,” “cracked” or “Premium APK” downloads: they may be altered, outdated or unsafe.

How to install TiviMate safely

Android TV or Google TV

1. Open the Google Play Store from the Apps area.
2. Search for “TiviMate IPTV Player”.
3. Check the app identity and developer details before selecting Install.
4. Open TiviMate and continue to playlist setup.

Amazon Firestick or Fire TV

1. Install the Downloader utility from the Amazon Appstore.

4. After installation, open TiviMate from your Apps library.
5. Return installation permissions to their previous setting if your device exposes that option.

Amazon confirms that Fire OS maintains Android app compatibility and documents sideloading as installing an app outside the Appstore. Menu names and installation controls vary by Fire OS version.

How to add a playlist to TiviMate

Using Xtream Codes

1. Open TiviMate and select Add playlist.
2. Choose Xtream Codes.
3. Enter the server URL, username and password exactly as supplied.
4. Give the playlist a recognisable name.
5. Wait for channels, groups and EPG data to finish loading.

Using an M3U playlist

1. Select Add playlist, then M3U playlist.
2. Enter the full authorised M3U URL without spaces or missing characters.
3. Add the provider’s XMLTV EPG URL separately if it is not included.
4. Save and allow the first update to complete.

Do not publish or share playlist URLs, usernames or passwords. They may contain account credentials. Only add streams you are authorised to access.

TiviMate not working? Use this troubleshooting order

Most TiviMate playback failures come from one of four layers: the device, network, playlist credentials or provider server. Test them in that order instead of changing several settings at once.

1. Confirm another app can access the internet.
2. Restart TiviMate, then restart the streaming device and router.
3. Check that the playlist account has not expired and the server URL has not changed.
4. Update TiviMate from its authentic source.
5. Test one affected stream in another authorised compatible player.
6. Contact the playlist provider with the exact error, time and affected channel.

Error numbers are server responses, not always TiviMate diagnoses. Avoid assuming that a VPN, reinstall or buffer change is universally correct. Isolate the failed layer first.
